Jeri Russell has been a regular supporter and volunteer for us. She lives in Cape Town and a few years ago had an idea of making coats from traditional african fabrics which she would sell and donate a proportion of the profits to charity. She’s been successful in this – she employs local women in Cape Town to do the sewing and sells the beautiful coats, mostly in the USA. Jeri has generously offered to buy two remedy machines for our new graduates. They’re now on order and I’ll be taking them out to Maun with me when I next visit for Lebo’s graduation, end January 2015.

A big thank you to Jeri and all her supporters! It is this kind of generous support that makes the graduates’ futures secure.
