An uplifting story

One of our volunteers, Carol Butterfield, sent me this uplifting story about treating an elderly client: “A lady in her 70’s walked into the clinic.  She had curvature of the spine from continually stooping with weakness and her discomfort from pain was becoming unbearable.  She was surprised when she was asked about her stresses and dreams, but revealed a dream of carrying a dead baby in her arms. This dream made her so sad, yet she was unable to release the emotion.  Within a few weeks of seeing me at the clinic, she came back and told me she had energy again and felt free from the restriction of her pain.  She sent her husband and many friends to the clinic after that and she and her husband clapped me out, which is a gesture of respect in Bostwana culture.  How humbling and uplifting for us all.”
