Two Successful Fundraising events!

Over 30 homeopaths attended the Fundraising Seminar inspired by the work of Martin Miles 11th November – so we were sold out and raised £1,400!  A fantastic result for the MHP and a very enjoyable and inspiring day had by all. Fittingly it was Remembrance Sunday so we observed a minute’s silence at 11am to remember both Martin and all the millions of people who died as a result of the two world wars.

We were lucky enough to have two top class speakers, Janice Micallef and Colin Griffith who, despite some competition from a music video being performed under the seminar room window, spoke with passion and clarity about their work inspired by Martin.  Also we are grateful to Neals Yard Remedies for once again providing a fabulous seminar room.

Three weeks later we were fundraising again – this time it was the Fundraising Art Auction and the MHP’s 10th Birthday Celebration held at volunteer, Susan Marmot’s home in London.  Again a fantastic result – £4,200 raised and everyone happy with their purchases. We were lucky to have Frances Blane involved in getting incredible art donated and not surprisingly the bidding was intense and competitive, managed expertly by auctioneer Jamie Kelsey-Fry. We even had someone bidding by phone to provide an exciting climax to a celebratory day!
