Sue and Phil work with the team in Maun

Sue Townsend is a regular volunteer homeopath for the MHP and her most recent trip to Maun was October – December 2014. Not only does Sue donate her time and expertise in Maun, but she also fundraises for the MHP and we very much appreciate all she has contributed. As this is a year of transition, Sue spent her time supporting the team (Lebo, Wasa, Irene and Olo) in planning for their first complete year of independent practice, including a move to a new central clinic in Maun. Sue’s husband, Phil, joined her at the end of her stay in Maun and worked with the team on the difficult task of budgeting and financial planning. Despite initial reservations, the team now feel empowered and ready to share control of the finances. As well as being paid to run free clinics (thanks to the support of all our donors), our graduates need to earn part of their living from private practice and take on the responsibility for all that involves. Thank you Sue and Phil for contributing to this process!
