It has been a year since I was in Maun. During this year a small group of dedicated volunteers (Susan Marmot, Lesley Murphy, Penny Rowe, Sue Townsend, Julia Wilson) and I have been supporting our graduates in running the clinics themselves in Maun. Now it is time to visit Maun again to assess the progress and make plans for the future. Sustainability has always been a main aim of the MHP, and we are continuously looking for ways to make the homeopathy service carry on long-term, run by and for local people. We are nearly there as we are encouraged by what our graduates have achieved so far. Now they need to become even more independent, and it is with this aim in mind that I am excited about my forthcoming trip with volunteer Julia Wilson. Whilst in Maun Julia and I will also take the opportunity to run a couple of seminar days so our graduates keep professionally updated.
We will be writing a Newsletter on my return to report on the next steps for our graduates and the future of the MHP clinics.
Thanking you for your support, none of our achievements in Maun would have been possible without you.
All best wishes for a happy 2016,
Hilary Fairclough, Director, MHP
