2016 has been a great year for the MHP. Our graduate homeopaths, Irene and Lebo, who run the clinics in Maun, have been determined to get homeopathy to the people who need it the most. They are now running regular outreach clinics in 15 remote villages around Maun including Boro 1 and 2, Gorukhu, Xharaxao, Shashe, Xhoo, Tsutsubega, Xobe 1 and 2, Bodibeng, Gogomoga, Sehitwa, Xharaxao, Samedupi and Quqao.
One of our partners, Reverend Annah Nguvauva, recently told us that a village, Etsa 6, to the north west of Maun was in particular need of homeopathy. She asked us to start a new clinic for the people living there. Last week, by invitation of the local Chief, Irene and Lebo made their first trip to Etsa 6 which is 300km away from Maun. Here, over 3 days, they treated 159 people asking for help for a variety of health complaints including HIV. We are celebrating this new partnership, which will develop in 2017 to be a significant support for this isolated community.
All the free clinics run by Irene and Lebo have been made possible by the generosity of our donors so a big THANK YOU to all of you who have donated. Please do continue to support us in 2017 – we depend on you.
Wishing you all a happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year,
Hilary Fairlcough, Director
