A case from our graduate homeopaths

Irene and Lebo (pictured below right) are two of our graduate homeopaths who are now practicing independently at the Mowana Clinic in the centre of Maun. Here they do free consultations for HIV+ clients 2 days a week – this work is paid for by the MHP thanks to your generous donations. For the other 3 days each week they are building up a private practice and below is the story of one client who came to see them.

Kefilwe, aged 22 and HIV-, consulted Irene and Lebo 3 months ago as she had been experiencing constant uterine bleeding for 2 years. All hospital investigations showed nothing abnormal. She told Irene and Lebo that the bleeding came with pains in her lower abdomen and back. She had lost her appetite and was feeling dizzy, weak and irritable. After two consultations the bleeding stopped completely and her periods returned to normal. She said “I don’t bleed anymore and I now want to have a child. My life is back to normal – before I was struggling especially at work. I used to be off sick all the time but now I can do my work and I feel happy. ”
